# The Teacher Training Agency (Additional Functions) Order 1995, Introduction: Introductory text

Made 6th March 1995
Laid before Parliament 8th March 1995
Coming into force 1st April 1995
Being of the opinion that the Teacher Training Agency may, having regard to their general objectives, appropriately discharge the additional functions hereby conferred and having carried out such consultation as appears to her to be appropriate pursuant to section 16(3) of the Education Act 1994, the Secretary of State, in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 16(1) and 23(2) of that Act, hereby makes the following Order:
