# The Teacher Training Agency (Additional Functions) Order 1998, Introduction: Introductory text

Made 5th May 1998
Laid before Parliament 11th May 1998
Coming into force 1st June 1998
Being of the opinion that the Teacher Training Agency may, having regard to their general objectives, appropriately discharge the additional function hereby conferred and having carried out such consultation as appears to him to be appropriate pursuant to section 16(3) of the Education Act 1994, the Secretary of State for Education and Employment, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 16(1) of that Act, hereby makes the following Order:
