Regulation 4 Conditions
No payment shall be made under regulation 3 to a person –
who has already completed a course of initial training for teachers before 1st September 2000 or who is undertaking such a course which commenced before 1st September 2000;
who is employed to teach at any school or other educational institution (and who is not a qualified teacher); or
in relation to whom the Regulations referred to in paragraph (2) of regulation 1 continue to apply by virtue of paragraph (3) of that Regulation.
No grant shall be paid under regulation 3 to a person unless he or she has made an application to the National Assembly in such form, at such time and containing such particulars as the National Assembly may determine.
Nothing in this regulation shall be taken as limiting the power of the National Assembly to adopt criteria for eligibility for grants under regulation 3.
