# The Teachers' Pension Scheme Regulations 2014, Regulation 106: Interpretation


In this Chapter—
“ill-health application” means an application under regulation 162 for payment of—
(a)an ill-health pension; and
(b)if applicable, a total incapacity pension; and
“stepped down employment” has the meaning given in regulation 117.
