# The Teachers' Pensions Regulations 1997, Paragraph 21


For the purposes of regulation C4(1) (case in which additional contributions may be paid for past period), if the person’s policy scheme service began before he first became employed in pensionable employment he is to be treated as having first become so employed when his policy scheme service began.
