# The Teachers' Pensions Regulations 1997, Paragraph 22


For the purposes of regulation E3 (qualification for retirement benefits), paragraph 1 of Schedule 8 has effect as if the person’s policy scheme service had been pensionable employment beginning after 5th April 1988.
