  "text": "(1) The rate of the annual pension is\n(A80×B)+C5, where—\nA is the average annual rate of the person’s salary during his admitted service,\nB is the length of the admitted service, expressed in years and any fraction of a year, and\nC is so much of\n(A80×B) as is attributable to admitted service before 1st April 1962.\n(2) The amount of the lump sum is\n(A30×D)+(3×A80×E), where—\nA is the same as in sub-paragraph (1) and—\nD is the length, expressed in years and any fraction of a year, of admitted service before 1st April 1963, and\nE is the length, so expressed, of admitted service after 31st March 1963.",
