# The Teachers' Pensions Regulations 2010, Regulation 35G: Restrictions on the acceptance of a transfer value


A transfer value payment in respect of a person (P) may not be accepted under this Section if, before P's application for a transfer value payment is received, P is in receipt of—
(a) retirement benefits under this scheme,
(b) a short-service serious ill-health grant, or
(c) a short-service annuity.
