# The Teachers' Superannuation (Amendment) Regulations 1988, Regulation 1: Citation, commencement and interpretation


(1) These Regulations may be cited as the Teachers' Superannuation (Amendment) Regulations 1988, and shall come into force on 1st September 1988, but regulation 7 shall have effect as from 6th April 1988.
(2) In these Regulations “the principal Regulations” means the Teachers' Superannuation Regulations 1976, and unless the context otherwise requires expressions which are also used in the principal Regulations have the same meaning as they have in those Regulations.
