# The Teachers' Superannuation (Amendment) Regulations 1993, Regulation 1: Citation, commencement and interpretation


(1) These Regulations may be cited as the Teachers' Superannuation (Amend-ment) Regulations 1993, and shall come into force on 1st March 1993, but regulation 3 shall have effect as from 1st June 1989 and regulations 8, 9, 11, 14, 17, 18 and 20 shall have effect as from 1st November 1988.
(2) In these Regulations “the principal Regulations” means the Teachers' Superannu-ation (Consolidation) Regulations 1988 and unless the context otherwise requires expressions which are also used in the principal Regulations have the same meaning as they have in those Regulations.
