  "text": "Regulation E4 of the principal Regulations is amended—\n(a) in paragraph (2)(c), by inserting after the letter “C” the letter and figure “,C1”;\n(b) by inserting after paragraph (4) the following—\n“(4A) In case C1 the person—\n(a) has attained the age of 60,\n(b) has ceased after 31st March 1972 and after attaining that age to be in pensionable employment, but would have ceased to be in such employment before attaining that age had not the employment continued beyond the attainment of that age due to a period of paid sick leave, and\n(c) has become incapacitated before attaining that age.”;\n(c) in paragraph (7)—\n(i) in sub-paragraph (c), by inserting after the words “pensionable employ-ment” the words “or in excluded employment”, and\n(ii) by deleting the word “pensionable” where it occurs for the second time;\n(d) in paragraph (10), by deleting the word “pensionable”; and\n(e) by inserting after paragraph (10) the following:\n“(11) In no case shall a person be regarded as having ceased to be in pensionable employment until not less than one day has passed without the person being in pensionable employment.”.",
