Regulation 14 Amendment of principal Regulations

In regulation E23 (short-term family benefits) for paragraph (2) there shall be substituted the following paragraph —

“(2)

The short-term pension is payable —

(a)

subject to paragraph (3)(a) to any surviving spouse, or, if a nomination under regulation E22 had effect at the time of his death, to the nominated beneficiary; and

(b)

if the deceased is survived by a child or children of his, to or for the benefit of the child or, as the case may be, the children jointly.”.
