Regulation 1

These Regulations may be cited as the Technical Assistance Control Regulations 2006 and shall come into force on 30th July 2006.

In these Regulations—

• “the Regulation” means Council Regulation (EC) No 1236/2005 of 27 June 2006^f1; and

• “the custom and excise Acts” and “assigned matter” have the same meaning as in section 1 of the Customs and Excise Management Act 1979^f2.
