  "text": "(This note is not part of the Order)\nThis Order revokes earlier Orders in Council which gave the force of law to two Agreements made in 1972 between the Minister of Posts and Telecommunications and the States of Jersey and the States of Guernsey respectively. They handed over to Jersey and Guernsey the Post Office’s statutory privilege over the administration of telecommunications services in the Channel Islands. The effect of the revocation of the earlier Orders is that the Agreements are terminated.",
