# The Television Broadcasting Regulations 1998, Paragraph 6


(1) Section 202 of the Broadcasting Act 1990 (general interpretation) is amended as follows.
(2) After subsection (4) there is inserted—
“(4A) Any reference in this Act to Council Directive 89/552/EEC is a reference to that Directive as amended by Directive 97/36/EC of the European Parliament and the Council.”
(3) Subsection (5A) is omitted.
