# The Terrorism Act 2000 (Proscribed Organisations) (Amendment) Order 2002, Introduction: Introductory text


PREVENTION AND SUPPRESSION OF TERRORISM
Made 31st October 2002
Coming into force 1st November 2002
Whereas the Secretary of State believes that the organisations set out in article 2 of the following Order are concerned in terrorism;
And whereas a draft of this Order has been approved by resolution of each House of Parliament;
Now, therefore, the Secretary of State, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by section 3(3)(a) and (c) of the Terrorism Act 2000, hereby makes the following Order:
