# The Terrorism Act 2000 (Proscribed Organisations) (Amendment) Order 2005, Introduction: Introductory text


PREVENTION AND SUPPRESSION OF TERRORISM
Made 13th October 2005
Coming into force 14th October 2005
The Secretary of State makes the following Order in exercise of the powers conferred on him by section 3(3)(a) of the Terrorism Act 2000;
In accordance with section 3(4) of that Act, the Secretary of State believes that the organisations listed in article 2 of the following Order are concerned in terrorism;
In accordance with section 123(4)(a) of that Act, a draft of this Order has been laid before and approved by resolution of each House of Parliament.
