# The Terrorism Act 2000 (Proscribed Organisations) (Amendment) Order 2007, Introduction: Introductory text


PREVENTION AND SUPPRESSION OF TERRORISM
Made 24th July 2007
Coming into force 25th July 2007
The Secretary of State, believing that the organisations referred to in article 2 of the following Order are concerned in terrorism, makes the following Order in exercise of the powers conferred on her by section 3(3)(a) of the Terrorism Act 2000;
In accordance with section 123(4)(a) of that Act, a draft of this Order has been laid before Parliament and approved by resolution of each House of Parliament.
