# The Terrorism Act 2000 (Proscribed Organisations) (Amendment) Order 2010, Introduction: Introductory text


Prevention And Suppression Of Terrorism
Made 4th March 2010
Coming into force in accordance with article 1
This Order is made in exercise of the power conferred on the Secretary of State by section 3(3)(a) of the Terrorism Act 2000.
The Secretary of State believes that the organisation to be added to Schedule 2 to that Act by article 2 of this Order is concerned in terrorism.
In accordance with section 123(4)(a) of that Act, a draft of this Order was laid before Parliament and approved by a resolution of each House of Parliament.
Accordingly, the Secretary of State makes the following Order—
