PREVENTION AND SUPPRESSION OF TERRORISM

Made 4th July 2025

Coming into force 5th July 2025

The Secretary of State makes this Order in exercise of the powers conferred by section 3(3)(a) and (c) of the Terrorism Act 2000f1.

The Secretary of State believes that the organisations to be added to Schedule 2 to that Act by article 2 of this Order are concerned in terrorismf2.

In accordance with section 123(4)(a) of that Act, a draft of this Order has been laid before and approved by a resolution of each House of Parliament.

“Terrorism” has the meaning given by section 1(1) of the Terrorism Act 2000, and section 1(1) was amended by the Terrorism Act 2006 (c. 11) and the Counter-Terrorism Act 2008 (c. 28).
