  "text": "(1) A person detained under Schedule 7 or section 41 or 43B ... in England, Wales or Northern Ireland shall be entitled, if he so requests, to consult a solicitor as soon as is reasonably practicable, privately and at any time.\n(1A) Sub-paragraph (1) is subject—\n(a) in the case of a person detained under Schedule 7 or section 41, to paragraphs 8 and 9, and\n(b) in the case of a person detained under section 43B, to paragraph 9.\n(2) Where a request is made under sub-paragraph (1), the request and the time at which it was made shall be recorded.\n(3) A detained person must be informed of the right under this paragraph on first being detained.",
