# The Thames Water Authority (Gatehampton Farm Boreholes) Order 1987, Introduction: Introductory text

Made 20th November 1987
Coming into force 1st December 1987
The Secretary of State for the Environment, on the application of the Thames Water Authority, being statutory water undertakers, and in exercise of powers conferred by sections 23, 32(1) and 59(1) of the Water Act 1945 and now vested in him, and of all other powers enabling him in that behalf, hereby makes the following Order:
