  "text": "(This note is not part of the Order)\nThis Order repeals local enactments permitting Thames Water Utilities Limited to discharge effluent conforming to specified purity standards from the Deephams, Maple Lodge and Mogden sewage treatment works into local rivers and brooks. The powers under the provisions specified in the Schedule were vested in the Thames Water Authority by the Water Act 1973 (c. 37), section 11(6), and were transferred to Thames Water Utilities Limited by a scheme under Schedule 2 to the Water Act 1989.\nThe company’s right to discharge effluent from those works is now regulated by the terms of consents granted for the purposes of section 108(1) of the Water Act 1989.",
