# The Three Valleys Water Order 1988, Article 2: Change of financial year


(1) If the Joint Committee so determine, by a resolution passed before 1st December in any calendar year, the accounts of the Joint Committee shall be made up for the period of 15 months from 1st January in that calendar year, and the following provisions shall have effect.
(2) In section 2(1) of the 1970 Order, in the definition of “year”, for “31st December” substitute “31st March”.
(3) Part V of the 1970 Order shall be amended in such manner as may be agreed between the Three Companies under section 26 of that Order.
(4) In Schedule 2 to the 1970 Order, in paragraph 6, for “the thirtieth day of June”, “the thirty-first day of December” and “the first day of March”, substitute “30th September”, “31st March” and “1st June” respectively.
