# The Thurrock Flexible Generation Plant Development Consent Order 2022, Paragraph 5: Code of construction practice

Extent: E+W+S

(1) No part of the authorised development can commence until a code of construction practice for that part has been submitted to and approved by the relevant planning authority.
(2) The code of construction practice must be substantially in accordance with the outline code of construction practice and—
(a) include relevant measures relied on in the environmental statement; and
(b) include management plans, working methods and mitigation measures including—
(i) details of lighting during construction;
(ii) pollution incident control plan;
(iii) soil management strategy; and
(iv) dust management and monitoring plan.
(3) Construction of the authorised development must be carried out in accordance with the approved code of construction practice.
