  "text": "(1) The Secretary of State may by regulations require a producer of any of the following to nominate an individual to be responsible for information that is, or that has to be, provided to a person in accordance with regulations under sections 99 to 101—\n(a) tobacco products,\n(b) tobacco related devices,\n(c) herbal smoking products,\n(d) cigarette papers,\n(e) filters,\n(f) vaping products, or\n(g) nicotine products.\n(2) The regulations may, in particular, make provision about who is eligible to be nominated, including provision requiring a nominee to be resident in, or to have another connection to, the United Kingdom.\n(3) The regulations must prohibit a producer from nominating an individual without the individual’s consent.\n(4) Regulations under this section are subject to the affirmative resolution procedure.",
