  "heading": "No-smoking signs in Northern Ireland",
  "text": "(1) Article 7 of the Smoking (Northern Ireland) Order 2006 (S.I. 2006/2957 (N.I. 20)) (no-smoking signs) is amended as follows.\n(2) For paragraph (1) substitute—\n“(1) A person who occupies or is concerned in the management of smoke-free premises must make sure that no-smoking signs are displayed in or near those premises in accordance with any requirements imposed by regulations.\n(1A) The regulations may, in particular, impose requirements about—\n(a) the content or appearance of a sign (for example, requirements as to its size, design, colour, or wording);\n(b) how and where signs are to be displayed.”\n(3) After paragraph (2) insert—\n“(2A) Regulations under paragraph (2) may, in particular, include any provision that may be made by regulations under paragraph (1).”\n(4) Omit paragraphs (3) and (4).",
