# Tobacco and Vapes Act 2026, Section 172: Regulations: general

Extent: E+W+S+N.I.

(1) A power to make regulations under any provision of this Act includes power to make—
(a) consequential, supplementary, incidental, transitional or saving provision;
(b) different provision for different purposes;
(c) different provision for different parts of the United Kingdom.
(2) This section does not apply to regulations under section 175, 176 or 177.
