  "text": "If the Secretary of State certifies that possession of a house which—\n(a) has been acquired or appropriated by a local authority or a non-mayoral combined authority or non-mayoral CCA for planning purposes, and\n(b) is for the time being held by the authority for the purposes for which it was acquired or appropriated,\nis immediately required for those purposes, nothing in the Rent Act 1977 or Part I of the Housing Act 1988 shall prevent the acquiring or appropriating authority from obtaining possession of the house.",
