# The Trade Marks (Amendment) Rules 2004, Introduction: Introductory text


TRADE MARKS
Made 28th March 2004
Laid before Parliament 31st March 2004
Coming into force in accordance with rule 1(2).
The Secretary of State, in exercise of the powers conferred upon her by sections 38(2), 39(3), 41, 44(3), 65, 76(1) and 78 of the Trade Marks Act 1994, after consultation with the Council on Tribunals pursuant to section 8(1) of the Tribunals and Inquiries Act 1992, hereby makes the following Rules:
