# The Trade Marks (Fees) (Amendment) Rules 2013, Introduction: Introductory text

Coming into force 1st October 2013
The Secretary of State in exercise of the powers contained in section 79 of the Trade Marks Act 1994 and of the power conferred by the Department of Trade and Industry (Fees) Order 1988 makes the following Rules:
