  "text": "(1) In section 226 of the 1992 Act (requirement of ballot before action by trade union), in subsection (2)(a), after sub-paragraph (ii) insert—\n“(iia) in which at least 50% of those who were entitled to vote in the ballot did so, and”.\n(2) Subsection (1) does not apply to any ballot opened before the day on which this section comes into force.\nFor this purpose a ballot is “opened” on the first day when a voting paper is sent to any person entitled to vote in the ballot.",
