# The Trade Union (Nominations) (Amendment) Regulations 1984, Introduction: Introductory text

Laid before Parliament 24th August 1984
Coming into Operation 14th September 1984
The Secretary of State, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by paragraph 31 of Schedule 1 to the Trade Union and Labour Relations Act 1974 (“the 1974 Act”) as amended by paragraphs 31 and 32 of Part III of Schedule 16 to the Employment Protection Act 1975 (“the 1975 Act”) and article 2 of the Administration of Estates (Small Payments) (Increase of Limit) Order 1984, and of all other powers enabling him in that behalf, hereby makes the following Regulations:—
