  "text": "For the purposes of this Order the following expressions shall have the following meanings:—\n(a) “enemy” means—\n(i) the Japanese State or the Sovereign thereof;\n(ii) any individual resident in Japan;\n(iii) any body of persons constituted or incorporated under the laws of Japan;\n(iv) any body of persons (whether corporate or unincorporate) carrying on business in any place, controlled by any State, individual or body of persons as aforesaid.\n(b) “Japan” means all territory which was under Japanese sovereignty on 7th December, 1941.",
