# The Traffic Areas (Reorganisation) Order 1991, Introduction: Introductory text


This Statutory Instrument has been made in consequence of a defect in S.I. 1991/288 and is being issued free of charge to all known recipients of that Statutory Instrument.

Coming in force 1st June 1991
The Secretary of State for Transport, in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 3(2) and (3) and 80(2) of the Public Passenger Vehicles Act 1981, and of all other enabling powers, and after consultation with the Council on Tribunals in accordance with section 10(1) of the Tribunals and Inquiries Act 1971, hereby makes the following Order:–
