Section 2 Amendment of the Traffic Signs General Directions 2002

Direction 42 of the Traffic Signs General Directions 2002^f1 is amended as follows.

At the end of paragraph (5) insert “and, if coloured yellow, may be—

For paragraphs (6) and (7) substitute—

“(6)

Except as provided in paragraph (7), a yellow backing board for a sign shall be rectangular in shape.

(7)

A backing board for a combination of the sign shown in diagram 2402.1 with the sign shown in diagram 670 may be of any shape including rectangular.”
