# The Traffic Signs (Amendment) Regulations 2006, Introduction: Introductory text


ROAD TRAFFIC
Made 26th July 2006
Laid before Parliament 31st July 2006
Coming into force 21st August 2006
The Secretary of State for Transport makes these Regulations in exercise of the powers conferred by section 64(1), (2) and (3) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
In accordance with section 134(2) of that Act he has consulted with such representative organisations as he thought fit.
