# The Traffic Signs General (Amendment) Directions 1995, Introduction: Introductory text


ROAD TRAFFIC
Made 19th October 1995
Coming into force 10th November 1995
The Secretary of State for Transport, the Secretary of State for Scotland and the Secretary of State for Wales, acting jointly in exercise of the powers conferred by section 65(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, and the Secretary of State for Transport in exercise of the powers conferred by section 85(2) of that Act and of all other powers enabling him in that behalf, hereby give the following Directions:
