# The Transfer of Functions (Equality) Order 2010, Paragraph 1: Equal Pay Act 1970


(1) The Equal Pay Act 1970 is amended as follows.
(2) In the following provisions for “Minister” in each place substitute “Secretary of State”—
(a) section 2(2) (disputes as to, and enforcement of, requirement of equal treatment);
(b) section 5(1) and (3) (agricultural wages orders);
(c) section 7B(2) and (4) to (7) (questioning of employer).
(3) In section 11 (short title, interpretation and extent), omit subsection (2B).
