Article 1 Citation, interpretation and commencement

This Order may be cited as the Transfer of Functions (Transport) Order 1981.

The functions transferred by this Order to the Secretary of State for Transport include functions exercisable by the Minister of Transport jointly with another Minister or other Ministers; and so far as this Order provides for the transfer of functions so exercisable it shall be construed as providing for their exercise jointly by the Secretary of State for Transport and the other Minister or Ministers.

This Order comes into operation on 26th February 1981
