# Transport Act 1962, Section 4: Railways Board’s road services.

Extent: E+W+S+N.I.

(1) Subject to this section, the Railways Board shall have power—
(a) to provide transport services by road—
(i) for the carriage of goods which have been or are to be carried by rail or water by the Railways Board, and
(ii) for the carriage of goods where a railway service has been temporarily interrupted, . . .

and to carry goods . . . by those services;
