# The Transport Act 1968 (Commencement No. 5) Order 1970, Note: Explanatory note


This Order brings into force section 131 of the Transport Act 1968 (which relates to fixed penalty procedure and traffic wardens) and a consequential repeal in Schedule 18 to that Act. When this Order takes effect, the whole of Part IX of the Transport Act 1968 and the whole of Part II to Schedule 18 to that Act will have come into force.
