Article 6

In a case where on 1st April 1981 the Minister has started, but not finished, the process of revoking a certificate of fitness by virtue of section 129(5) of the 1960 Act, the commencement of that process shall not be deemed to prevent the certificate in question from having effect as if it were a certificate of initial fitness issued in respect of the vehicle on that date in accordance with section 17(2), and the said process shall accordingly be at an end.
