  "heading": "General interpretation.",
  "text": "In this Act—\n“the 1967 Act” means the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1967;\n“the 1972 Act” means the Road Traffic Act 1972;\n“prescribed” means prescribed by regulations made by the Secretary of State; and\n“road” means any highway and any other road to which the public has access, and includes bridges over which a road passes except that in Scotland it has the same meaning as in the Roads (Scotland) Act 1984.",
