  "text": "(1) This Act may be cited as the Transport for London Act 2008 and, except for—\nsections 17 to 21 and Schedules 1 and 2 (fixed penalties);\nsection 23 (production of London PHV driver’s badge);\nsection 24 (return of licences etc. on suspension or revocation);\nsection 25 (obligation of London operators to keep records); and\nsection 27 (penalty fare levels),\nshall come into operation at the end of the period of two months beginning with the date on which it is passed.\n(2) The provisions mentioned in subsection (1) shall come into operation on the appointed day.",
