Article 3 Insertion of definitions into Part 2 of the 1982 Act

Section 24A of the 1982 Act (interpretation of Part 2) is amended as follows.

In subsection (1), insert the following definitions at the appropriate places—

  • ““address”, in relation to electronic communications, means any number or address used for the purposes of such communications,”;

  • ““electronic communication” has the same meaning as in the Electronic Communications Act 2000 (c. 7),”.
