# The Transport Security (Electronic Communications) Order 2006, Article 7: Insertion of definitions into the 1994 Order


(1) Article 2 of the 1994 Order (interpretation) is amended as follows.
(2) In paragraph (1) insert the following definitions at the appropriate places—
““address”, in relation to electronic communications, means any number or address used for the purposes of such communications,”;
““electronic communication” has the same meaning as in the Electronic Communications Act 2000 (c. 7),”.
