# The Transport Tribunal Rules 2000, Introduction: Introductory text

Laid before Parliament 8th December 2000
Coming into force 1st January 2001
The Lord Chancellor, in exercise of the powers conferred by paragraph 11(1) of Schedule 4 to the Transport Act 1985, and after consultation with the Council on Tribunals in accordance with section 8 of the Tribunals and Inquiries Act 1992, hereby makes the following Rules:
