# The Treasury Bills (Amendment) Regulations 1998, Introduction: Introductory text

Laid before Parliament 12th June 1998
Coming into force 6th July 1998
The Treasury, in exercise of the powers conferred on them by section 9 of the Treasury Bills Act 1877 and section 5 of the National Debt Act 1889 and of all other powers enabling them in that behalf, hereby make the following Regulations:
