# The Treasury Bills (Amendment) Regulations 1999, Introduction: Introductory text

Coming into force 15th November 1999
The Treasury, in exercise of the powers conferred on them by section 9 of the Treasury Bills Act 1877, section 5 of the National Debt Act 1889 and of all other powers enabling them in that behalf, hereby make the following Regulations:–
